paper piecing

I meant to make a card using Shari's technique. Her newspaper tulips card - Pattern paper should be inside of the card and two "V" edge strips -.
I think ...because...I concentrated too much on Paper Piecing...
my mind was completely blank! without any thoughts or plans, I automatically put adhesive onto the front of the cardstock... consequently, I had to change the design....
I couldn't throw it away!... because of all my effort of paper piecing...
anyway... I'm still happy with this card....

handmade masks

At last, some idea came across.
As you can see I followed Maile's instructions to make this card.
I could've used completely different stamps, but I wanted to have a frame, like her card, and with some kind of floral image.
As always, I don't have most of supplies to be able to make that!
so... what I did ....
I looked for a frame image though internet and downloaded the image.
Then, printed on to printable post-it A4 paper and cutting out with a craft knife.
I made completely handmade masks ... !
I embossed this frame with crystal powder, so it has bit of texture there too :)

shopping at mayfair

My favourite shopping area is Mayfair, and another favourite thing is checking out Selfridges Windows. It's fun and good to learn design and colour scheme.

sometimes funny, sometimes beautiful, sometimes cozy, sometimes fashionable, I always enjoy a lot. Whenever I have a camera with me, I take photos!

It's normally impossible to stand on the middle of Oxford Street. Thousands of double decker buses run here, one of the busiest street in the world. Because of road construction, a part of the street was closed for vehicles. This is the first time!! I stood on the middle of Oxford street! yay!

silhouette vase

Today, I used a wet inking technique again. I bought this Silhouette Vase stamp quite while ago. Because of my poor imagination! I haven't been able to think how I can use this beautiful stamp....
I was almost about sending a message to Jennifer for help!! I wanted to see my mentor Jennifer how she uses this stamp! But, thankfully, I've got inspiration from one of techniques she taught us in the class. Thank you Jennifer!
