How cool technique is that?! I'm just amazed!
It's REALLY amazing how Tim made industrial faux riveted metal look! I fall in love with his tag.
Although I have to be strong and use my full energy, I really enjoyed creating texture on foil.
The worst thing was I didn't have steel wool!! ..how funny thing is that?! ...well....I've never thought need for my household, so...I had to use a heavy duty sponge instead.
As you can see it didn't wipe off the colour well. That is why it doesn't look like faux riveted metal at all... !
well....I need to do more practice to create texture anyway.
I'll go to a shop now and get steel wool and make a card for the next time!

Love all the detail on your tag.
ReplyDeleteFun tag! I like you take on this month's tag.
ReplyDeleteI really love how pretty you made this look. It is so colourful. Awesome take on Tims tag (I had the same problem with the scrubber sponge I used it either took it all off or kind of smushed it)
ReplyDeleteFabulous tag... yummy colors!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your metal! I think it's gorgeous the way it is! =D You don't have to use steel wool though, you can totally use sandpaper! I used the wet/dry, automotive kind on my tag and achieved the same look!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the tag. Your faux metal turned out perfectly.
