sanding and coloring

We must have cardstock with a white back for this technique.

But! I found there are not a lot, actually very rare. I have only this green cardstock which has a white back.
I have tried with a pattern paper with a white back, but it didn't work well. It has to be thick ("thicker" than pattern paper) cardstock. ...so I need to buy some... Meanwhile, I made a card with what I have at the moment. More masculine card for Father's day.
